Chalet Jacque is a luxury chalet sitting above the authentic Swiss village of Haute Nendaz in an exclusive area known as Domaine de la Chapelle, Les Cleves.  The chalet is an ideal base for walkers and cyclists with many marked paths and tracks nearby.

As the name of the area suggests, there is a chapel nearby used regularly for services and weddings.  There is also a bar and restaurant, Hameau Les Cleves, less than 300m from the chalet for those lunchtimes and evenings when you don't want to cook for yourselves.  

The local sports shop in Nendaz, Neige Aventure, hires mountain bikes throughout the summer and details of walks along the many bisses can be obtained from the local tourist office.

For days out consider Sion, the historic capital of Valais, which is less than 30 minutes by car from the chalet in the valley below Nendaz, or slightly further a field, Montreux on the side of Lake Lausanne just 1 hour from the chalet.  There is an excellent golf course in Crans Montana, as well as an open air swimming pool and tennis courts in Nendaz.
